While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Default Sydney Meet Up Point & Time

Guys, we'll be meeting in the car park of Glenbrook Visitors Centre in Ross Street, Glenbrook this year.
Due to the number of cars we won't be meeting in the cut-a-way(Hamment Place) out the front of Glenbrook Visitors Centre like last year.
To get to the carpark, go past the cut-a-way (Hamment Place) at Glenbrook Visitors Centre and turn left into Ross Street. The car park is on your left.
Link to Google Map, the entrance to Ross Street

Meet: Glenbrook Visitors Centre Car Park, Ross Street, Glenbrook.
When: Friday 15th October
Time: 9:00am

From there we will travel to Bathurst, do the obligatory visit to The Mountain then grab some lunch at The Vic before driving straight through to Parkes.

Please add your name to the list below if you intend to meet up and travel with us.

1. Meg's GT's
2. Grum

With the time that you will be coming along the F3 and Hornsby etc, you should be allowing yourself 2 1/2 - 3 hours to Glenbrook. the traffic on the F3 and penant hills road at that time on a Friday morning will be a nightmare
