Default Homegrown supercharged mustang unveiled this week.

Talk of Ford offering supercharger packages for the local Mustang have been happening since it was first released, but now, a joint venture between Herrod, Roush and Ford will finally be released this week.

While early speculation pointed to a dealer fit scenario, the latest news seems to suggest an actual model will be sold through Ford.

Press have been issued with invites for a Wednesday night confrence as reported here by motoring.com and Dick Johnston will be doing Bathurst laps in a "Yet to be announced special edition" as reported by Supercars today..

Ford also posted a teaser to Twitter and Facebook.

Exciting times!

Seems in liue of the Shelby GT twins, Ford Australia has been ok'd for its own homegrown performance version.
