Yep, how many 250kw rear wheel drive sports cars are on the market for this money. None.

Agree 100%, even in Europe, buyers still want the V8.
The 2.3 EB High performance package might be a nice car but it just doesn't resonate with our buyers. It's actually intended to go up against the Camaro 3.6 V6 with the sporty track oriented 1LE package. A better base model for our market would be the 2.7 EB V6 with 325 HP and 400 lb ft of torque. i mean, if Ford really wanted to kick Camaro's butt, that's the way to do it without raising a sweat. |

Could they do a pov pack and make it work here? Is it not the whole reason why we get RHD here in the first place at a decent price is because they load it up?

Confirmed for Oz. 236kw.
https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/202...ance-australia Interestingly they mention front to rear weight distribution is 53/47. Would have thought it would be closer to 50/50 with a small all alloy 4 cylinder in the front. I guess it has a stumpy tail and long nose though. |

Everything I read said the ecosport was a better drive, but it does lack the power and probably most importantly, the sound, of the V8.
This new version has plenty more power than my FG Falcon, and if the better drive version gets all the performance pack fruit too, how much better again will it be? I really like the Grabber Green colour too. Now to convince the little woman I need a 4wd AND a Mustang. |

They want you to come for the V8, and leave with the 4 cylinder. Only way they can meet the CAFE rules.

My stock 2017 Ecoboost Mustang was 233Kw before I tuned it. In the US specs they are quoting 330HP which is 246Kw. |

These 2 videos show the EB handles the twisty stuff a lot better than the GT.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10smklC1EgU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvs_IrtlHMk The EB taking the corners at a quicker speed that the GT, the GT gets to much higher speeds on the straight stuff. Same driver, same day, the GT appears to go into limp mode coming out of the last corner, but even at that stage the EB was near to 3 seconds up on the GT. |

For me an entry level option would be pov pack GT or a significant increase in power and options for the 4 pot.
