Post Mustang 2018 10 Speed Auto. Magna Ride Dampers...

"Ford has had details of next-year's facelift of the Mustang leaked on line by fansite mustang6g.com ahead of the big American coupe's mid-life update sometime next year.
The leak, claimed to have come from within Ford's own dealer network, confirms last August's rumours that the 2018MY upgrades will introduce the advanced 10-speed automatic that has been developed jointly with the US car-maker and General Motors.

No details have been given on how the Mustang improves with an additional four forward gears but both performance, particular in-gear acceleration, plus efficiency will be significantly better than the outgoing car.
As well as the extra gears, the dealer leak reveals that next year's Ford coupe will come with MagneRide dampers on both the Ecoboost and V8 models that's claimed to improve damper performance in its firmest setting to the level of the Shelby GT350.
An all-new sports exhaust will also be an option that introduces quad rear tailpipes.
The dealer leak goes onto confirm the model updates will also introduce a new handling kit that's been specifically developed to improve track performance. Called the 'Performance Package 2' it's thought the V8 Mustangs will come with the option of stiffer springs, high performance dampers and larger brakes.
A 'Carbon Sport pack' is also part of the updates but it's not known if this option will introduce weigh-saving body panels or simply offer a carbon finish around the dash.
Finally, the dealer memo says the colours Orange Fury and Royal Crimson will be introduced to the Mustang range."

apparently a new body kit will be launched next year also for Australian mustang , the new exhaust poses a problem for ford as it too loud and does not meet regulations here, and a super charged version is on the way.....
