Default Embarrassing Driving Habit Confessions

So- week from hell, sitting with a red, can now laugh about a phone call that took place today.

Rear tyres about 1.5 mm above wear marker. Decided to roll with Khumo PS 91s, and ringing around for pricing on 285s and 245s.

Conversation with local retailer:

Me: So, my tyres are about 1.5mm above wear marker. I am embarrassed, but my tyres seem to wear fast, they are Nexens.

Him: How many km you done.

Me: 13,500

Him: Oh, 30,500 that's not that bad

Me: No 13,500kms

Him: OH- 13,500 ...HA Ha HA HA HA HA

What bad habit confessions you made at your own expense.....?????

If it makes you feel any better when I was on my restricted I used to go through a pair of tyres every 6 months. I used to replace my tyres 2 at a time and cycle the old ones to the rears. If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say each tyre had a life expectancy of between 7 and 13 thousand k's

If ever my apprentice leaves his jumper in my work car, on the way to work, if I need to fart I unleash on said jumper. Is that even embarrassing, or is it just mean?

Were they 245s on rear.

With the 275 Dunflops on my rear, I really did flog the poor rears- had to learn oversteer again, drifting oversteer again at high speed with esp off, how the car wriggled and jinxed under power 1st to 2nd to 3rd WOT with esp off, had to be done for safety you see.

Actually I think Ford did the owners a favour with the Dunflops, turning esp off with Dunflops on corners forces you to skill up on your oversteer skills ....so when you progress to better rubber and the car goes that much faster on corners you have the honed skills to react to oversteer.

But even really canning the rears I still got bit over 15,000 on the Dunflops.

You getting half my mileage-

Aww c'mon guys, the threads about embarassing driving habits, what did you want if not embarassing driving habit confessions.

What, wearing out your tyres is embarassing but taking the opportunity to get some revenge on the **** poor driving i see around me is outrageous.

If it were about bad habits you're proud of i could understand, but im embarassed to admit it and thought id share.

Anyway, i live in SA so i doubt i've inconvenienced too many of you lot.

Geez, now im not only embarrassed but feel like a **** for being honest.

ok, if someone is lane hogging in the right lane when its a motorway, i am no longer allowed to flash my lights to politly let them know they are in the F...King way, so now i merge left and undertake and then quickly merge right in front of them....silly yes i know but if i just merged left and went past they would never know they are a "C"
this way they get angry at me then hopefully realise they are also doing the wrong thing

Yeah- when there is an idooot who stubbornly sits in the right on freeway, I downchange to third, WOT blast past them on the left and turn sharp right into the right lane if there is a car on left coming up....amazing the number of idooots who get out of the fast lane when any angry Miami roars at them.

Doing this with other cars never had the same effect as a Miami roaring it's displeasure.......

What's worse is when someone does that in a car along side you and then either eats it or flicks it out the window

You dirty old man

My most embarrassing driving habit is definately masterbating in traffic.
Tried it on the freeway once. Nearly hit the median strip.
