Hi,
I've been looking for the names of the two known Ford dealerships/concessions that were in Numurkah, Victoria up until about 1990. I'm not finding anything on Mr. Google. The first was located at the corner Knox and Melville and it then changed name and moved up the road to corner Tocumwal Rd and McGregor St maybe 1985. That closed circa 1990 and was owned by family friends that are no longer around. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks |

My interwebs tricks revealed nothing. Even https://web.archive.org/web/19960815...://Ford.com.au only goes back to 1996. (Entertaining viewing if anyone has time to kill, would you believe that they didn't even have the Falcon on their website back then? Taurus was there :-/ )
Back on topic...have you tried contacting Ford customer service? Some of them are very helpful. |

I was born in Numurkah , lived close by until 1967 , COXON Motors ( Ford Dealer ) was on the corner opposite the Shire Chambers- did not know of any other location for a Ford dealer . Another avenue for your research is to use TROVE - a free web site that allows you to search newspapers printed up to about 1956 ?. If you search the Numurkah Leader you can see ads and any articles relating to Coxon Motors.
