in the late 70s / early 80s was a xa or xb falcon van, in candy red, with red bubble windows and masses of chrome, called MR DAMAGE. It was often on the show scene in brisbane / ipswich areas.
it was the first car that i ever fell in love with, and i would love to find some pix. I was in custom vans and trucks magazine many a time. anyone? |

I'd get in contact with the people at www.vanning.org.au
It's an Australian Vanning site with many old pictures. Unfortunately there are none on the site of the vehicle your looking for, however someone affiliated with the site may have or know where to get pictures of "Mr. Damage".

I can remember picking some bits off the carcass of it. a milko at Redcliffe had it and sold bits off it about 15 years ago. I got the tappet covers and polished the engraving off of it, heaps of chrome bits. It ended up at the ford wreckers down at Clontarf. Would be a washing machine by now.

You can probably get back issues of the Custom Vans and Trucks mag from Eddie Ford who runs Restored Cars as they produced both mags.
