What makes me even more suspicious is that it's coming from everyone's 'favourite' motor journalist 'Joshua Dowling', who's 'well know' for presenting 'only factual' information.
No V8's back in the late 80's, no V8's in 98, no V8's in the VF (and FWD)... seems like there's a trend here. |

They may as well shut up shop now, if cutting 40% of your sales (V8's) is considered viable. If they are flat out struggling for volume now just imagine how bad the numbers would be if you took away that 40%, plus the ute, plus LWB. It would halve the volume coming out of the place overnight. It would sell at current Falcon levels.
How do they plan on keeping the plant going with next to no volume. |
