as i said before the only way to get BP to lower prices (if theyre any different anyway) is to go elsewhere

stop whinging and vote with your feet, or wheels in this case

i just dont see the point of complaing about it instead of just going elsewhere

your fuel card is either free (which you said its not) or you pay for it (so go elsewhere)

its an easy fix

I've been waiting for a Motor/Wheels magazine to do a proper fuel comparaisson...

They've done tyres etc... So I can't see why they couldn't do this...

Comparing:
Standard ULP from BP/Caltex/Shell/Whoever
Premium ULP from BP/Caltex/Shell/Whoever
10% Ethanol blend from BP/Caltex/Shell/Whoever

That would give 12 examples... of commonly used petrols (by mum/dad users)

The same car, the same track/route, same driver, the same amount of fuel (wouldn't expect a full tank... would take forever to test)...

To see the comparisson of everything
Consumption (always claimed that PULP is better - but by how much)
Cost vs KM (between the lot of them - ultimately which is cheapest per/100km)
Dyno reading (always claimed that higher power from PULP - but by how much)
Emmissions (always claimed that Ethanol blend is 'greener')

I'm sure that they could compare other things also...

It would settle countless arguments and mis-truths about petrol...
and whether it is all a scam to fleece us of cash.. or whether there is some truth in the advertising... (or whether its somewhere in between)...

I'd be very interested in the results....

I dont pay for fuel at BP so I'm not too worried hehe.

Love having a account card for work.

BP's in the redlands arent that bad though, filled up last night for 1.36 I think

yeah mate the thread isnt really about my fuel card . its the price of BP fuel in comparison to other suppliers . i think the replies have probably negated the price differance around australia now . . . i dont really want to get into slanging matches with people over my lease deal .
so i'd rather see the thread closed . its gone way off topic .. cheers . i'm now getting replies of needing new keyboards spell checks , brain scans, and sooking etc .
CLOSE THE THREAD.

CLOSE THE THREAD.
Since when did you become the forum police? you rolled into the thread and started having a whinge at BP because of their fuel prices. You started the damn thing in the first place.

P.S. I have recorded all of those lovely PM's you sent me.

Have a nice day.

i get what ya saying about BP being dearer, but if its an issue just go elsewhere

i just filled up on ULTIMATE an hour ago. 1 or 2 cents per litre isnt enough to make me go 5/10mins out of my way to get to the other servo.

about the thread going off topic, it was you who brought up the fuel card/lease thing. threads arent just about reinforcing your opinions, theyre about debating things.
