I'm just wondering where I might be able to get an after market add on shock sensor from? I tried Jaycar but they don't sell shock sensors individually. I already have a factory alarm. Just want the shock sensor function as well.

if you get really stuck finding one p'm me and i'll send you one if you can cover postage and the cost of the unit, they aren't too expensive. other than that try a car alarm company, they should hopefully supply one to you
you have a factory ford alam? or an aftermarket alarm upgrade that works off the factory remote? will be alot easier to get it to work if you have an aftermarket upgrade alarm scott

most decent car alarm fitters should be able to supply you with a shock sencer unit.
try Mongoose, Vision, Auto Watch, Dynamco/Cyclops, etc. if it is for a Ford factory fitted alarm it was probably made by Vision . some alarms use different wiring systems for the shock sencer so try and get one the same brand as your alarm if you can.

Final alternative is replace the whole thing. There are so many high quality systems going for good money these days. Try ebay if you can't get a shock sensor to fit your existing system - you'll be surprised at what you can get for your money.

Ok I bought a shock sensor from my local car audio place. Its a used one they had lying around so there is no wiring diagram with it so I'm after a little help to work out what wire goes where. There are 4 wires, black, red, orange and white with red stripe. I would assume that red is a positive power supply and black is earth. Just unsure on the orange and white with red strip. Could they possibly both be trigger wires? As the sensor has two sensitivity adjustments?
