howdy, i worked with a mate who was 2ic of a company that produced the pictures, he told me if you ever get a speeding ticket from a camera you should ask for pictures, he said something like 3/4 times you will be in the right because there lazy bastards who just send out tickets to any person who was in the picture, there really dodgy over there because as everything its not the government who handles it, its a whole assortment of companies who are paid by the government, chances are you were not speeding and the $50 to prove it will definetely outweigh the points youd loose on your liscence

I had to fight for 3 years to get a fine lifted that I didnt commit. I wasnt in the country!! Finally the judge threw it out saying I couldnt possibly know who was driving the car. Even after I gave evidence, the RTA instructed the police to persure the case!!! B*****!! The judge was nice enough to throw the case out saying the RTA had not met its requirement to prove that I was the one driving the vehicle or whoever it was driving it...

As i knew i was speeding, and well to fight it i would have had to take a day of work to go into the city to fight it now worth it in my view
NSW is different to WA - instead of taking a picture of the front of the car they take a picture of the back - very hard to identify the driver.

Send them a letter that you want the photo. When it comes pay it. I bet its right. If you take a day off work to go to court there is your fine paid anyway. If you do and lose you will kick yourself for the double whamy. I did. If its about points wel .....
