You asked what the last inspirational thing Ford did, that would be the PH3, or flying taxi, the ONLY thing Ford ever did that is a/ inspirational, b/ worthy of bragging rights.
Thats usually enough to upset a purist.

And back on topic, i'd have that in my driveway!

Its sad that it had to be made into one big monaro add, the 24hr could have become one of the worlds top production car events.

Its nothing like the cars that raced at the 24hr, those cars were infinately closer to a V8SC than this car..

That was my whole point, as "AuFairlaneV8" pointed out, it was just a marketing exercise. Having a "production" car (that never made it to production) ruin a category comprised of production (or very close to production) cars is "cheap"

Edit: I see your point, even if it did make it to production it would never have been anything like what they raced...
