Hi Goldberg,

Is there a website setup for people to get more information? I'm sure there's lots of interest but a hastily worded post won't get anywhere near the attention it deserves!

Are there any further details you can supply about what has been proposed to the council?

Calder park is too far away for some of us on this side of town, the opening of drags at Sandown would be great, and i think they would be very popular too!

If this is true it is great news for us in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The only problem I can see is objections from local residents with Sandown being in a residential area as drag events are often held at night.

Good idea having it during the day, I will show my support once the website is up and will also get friends to do the same, drags at sandown would be awesome.

It's a great start, a show of hands would be good to see the level of interest here.
I'm all for it.

I'll put my name down or join a club if required.
Sure beats towing the car to Heathcote.

hi guys rick had the meeting went well council is ok about drags rick told them about the club they want to getting it running as soon as possible through cams, but the as well rick had words about the police which he said he under stands they have very hard job to do and respects them for it ,but they must understand we a car lovers and we dont hoon on the streets we will pay to go to sandown to race and respect them , but they need to respect us as well . as for the hoons rick told them the club will not excepted any members doing stupid burnsouts on the streets and other activerts, we the members dont do stupid things like that ,if anything the club members back up the police if the polices a right , but at the same time police have been wrong to so lets as a team and the real hoons get kid in the bud not us, we want drags at sandown we do not want to lose it either there is a safe place to race the cars thats sandown . council was happy to here that , so rick has another meeting next week at councils this is the big one guys rick going all the way . I CANT SAY THIS ENOUGH IM PROUD TO HIS FRIEND AND THE WAY HE FIGHTS TO GET DRAGS . HIS GOT GUTS LIKE GOLDBERG SAYS WHOS NEXTS THE COUNCIL HA HA

Can you take the time to review what you post before you post it please.

It makes it so hard to read that its effect is detracting from the cause, to the extent that I have no interest in the outcome of this venture.
