Just wondering how many people do this trip? Im off in the morning and I have been looking at whereis.com.au and it says basically to stick on the Princess Freeway, 188k's and should be done in 2 hours and 11 minutes.
So the "major" towns I would go through would be: Geelong>Winchelsea>Colac>Camperdown>Terang>Allansf ord>Warrnambool Im wondering why is it telling me to go up to Campedown and Terang from Colac. I would have thought it would be quicker to go straight across, even if it isn't a major highway and follow the below route: Colac>Stoneford>Cobden>Allansford>Warrnambool Just after some suggestions, and perhaps tips from those who have done it. Am I better just sticking to the Princes? Cheers

Narr M8 just stay on the Princes ... if you go
Colac>Stoneford>Cobden>Allansford>Warrnambool you will add about 30 - 45 min to your time .. if you go the princes then Geelong>Winchelsea>Colac>Camperdown>Terang>Allansf ord>Warrnambool will be ok and you do it in 2hrs. Then there is the "Back way" where you go from Geelong to Cressy to Mortlake to Warrnambool . but if you dont know it you might as well stay to the Princes H/way |
