Yeah, there is such a thing. Nothing on the old Torana SLR 5000 though.

yeap true, does exist but very unheard of or seen model.

they (all car companies really) should really only put that sorta name tag on a car that has something to do with the old model or some sorta 'iconic' reputation, rather than waste it on a commy that people have rarely heard of or seen.

I thought this was a 2nd hand dealer job but it looks like they are real (see http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...d.php?p=302844). Ugly as - it looks like my 8 year old did the badge.

Apparantly done by some melbourne based dealer group rather than the factory.

nah i have seen a few and i do believe they're legit.........
they had walkinshaw wheels, the 185kw engine IIRC badging and trim

i doubt a dealer would go to that extent

Ive led to believe they were sold though Victorian holden dealerships back around 89.
The model i think that would be worth owning is the t-30 as there were only 30 of them built.

The redbook data page is here. It was a VS series II to be precise. Nothing as memorable as the HSV GTS-R!

Ive also seen a few vs slr5000's for sale. Must of been a way for dealers to get rid of excess stock.
