Default Sponsorship

My wife and I were talking the other day, about how Ford seems to sponsor cricket, rugby, afl, and the question came up, what do Holden sponsor?? I could not think of one thing. I know of Toyota sponsoring afl and KIA the tennis. Anyone know?

come on guys, they quite obviously sponser every single automotive publication in this fine land, why else would they continually glorify the ИИИИ boxes despite whatever ford produces.
but seriously, about 3/4 of any car mag i read is holden ads, The herald sun cars guide seriously has about 12 pages of holden ads. Thats the reason i think that the journo's always write such good stuff about holden, you dont want to annoy your major advertiser and make them advertise somewhere else now, do u?

Actually Holdens have taken a bit of a flack lately in Motor & Wheels in comparo articles, mainly about being dated.

Don't alot of car dealers sponsor things like News programms? I could of swarn i've seen a holden logo in the ending credits of "sunrise"..Bit off topic but I saw a really nice Black EL XR8 on "neighbours" the other week, its a welcome change to the VY SS that's usually seen on australian soapy's in my opinion.

So far Ford seems to come up trumps on direct Sport advertisement!!! I would love to see comparitve budgets spent on this type of marketing.
