Default bedside radios

If I dont get an answer this could lead to seperate bedrooms ..... for SWMBO

She has decided to start listening to ABC radio @ 4:30 in the mourning  so I am on the desperate hunt for a bedside clock with radio (ABC reception) and bluetooth so she can/will be forced to usde headphones or earplugs.

Tonz assuming your profile is up to date, I checked the internet and the ABC is on the AM band which makes it difficult.
An internet radio might be an option.
You can buy kits to add Bluetooth capability to an existing radio.

Use your favourite search engine to search for "Add Bluetooth to Vintage Radio "
There are options and it depends on your Tech skills.

Plug and play dongle would need a headphone socket on the radio.
Any mod to the existing radio if it doesn't have a headphone socket, would be a bit involved b/c it needs to cut out the existing speaker. Do-able, but bit of mucking around.
Just did a search and not much available for what you want. What's the ABC radio reception like in Pt Lincoln? If its broadcast from a local antenna, especially if its DAB (digital) you may have some modern options.
Edit. Just had a good look, not much available at all. Doing your own mod might be the only option. Old school AM/FM radio are cheap, probelm is the cheap Chinese ones are useless for weaker signals out in the country.

I use a Logitech Squeezebox as a bedside radio, as I stream UK evening shows, in the morning

https://download01.logitech.com/support/24377.1.0.pdf

it's got a headphone socket

not sure if you can still buy them new, but there must be similar ones around, or ebay?

This is only one I could find with headphone jack, iTOMA 728, cheapest price is on amaozon. Its DAB and FM, not AM.
Everything is bluetooth in. None I could find with bluetooth out (for bluetooth headphone), so you would need a separate bluetooth audio transmitter dongle (with aux jack).

Mission impossible to find a bedside AM/FM radio that connects bluetooth to headphones for listening, I tried this years ago with no luck, you will only get bluetooth connection for devices to stream music to AM/FM radio systems.
However, you will find AM/FM radio that can connect to chord headphones.
