Holy crap, that actually looks Ok.
The interior is a massive improvement. Still not a fan of the stuck on screens companies use but better than the old interior.

I liked the current model better, the new one is too soft looking IMO.

Don't like the current one but this I actually don't mind that much. Looking forward to seeing the ST version.

"Under the bonnet, it’s thought the engine range will largely consist of the firm’s turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine."
I can't believe you can fit 3 cylinders into a litre of anything....

Because our spec is built in Thailand, it won't arrive here until late 2017 or even early 2018 which is pathetic as I'm interested in the new ST.
Even the new spec Fusion/Mondeo has been on sale in the U.S for around a year and we still have the older spec. What gives? |

Finally a decent interior.
The current interior is okay, but then anything is better than the previous monstrosity with the numpad. I think I like the look of the current model exterior better, but the new one isn't horrible. An ST would be my car of choice if I get a small car down the track. |

I should take a Fiesta and fit that into it Or.. do like the guy in UK that fitted Ecoboost 2.0 in his. (current generation Fiesta). If you can fit a 2.0 Ecoboost, should be the same physical size of fitting the 2.3 litre from the Focus RS also. Problem is just that the Fiesta looks a bit too small (too narrow) to be seen in for grown up guys. Cheers,

My oldest daughter bought a new 2016 Fiesta ST and it is a mini rocket with the 134 kw engine. I would not go long distance in it though as the tuned for handling suspension is horrible. Not my cup of tea overall...

If its anything like the old one it should be a ripper of a car. Always been a big fan of the XR4 and ST. Looking forward to the performance variants I think they've earned the right to wear an RS badge... Lets hope so...
