Just more surprised at the volume, triples Aurion sales.

It is one of the best looking passenger cars around with easily one of the best interiors.

The C-Class is a top choice, class leading interior and very expensive looking for modest money.

But the sales numbers are inflated, in the way Holden and Ford used to do by instructing dealers to register cars to get their bonuses. As evidenced by the regular "demo sales".
I cant see why each dealer "needs" to have something like 12 C200 sedans in white, black or silver as "demo's"

If you are 6 foot 2 like me you would be a bit sore after a run though.

They are quite compact ( and that is being kind) compared to say a Falcon.

But the resale is better than most.

I don't really think that's the case it's been selling 700-900 a month since release a year ago. Demos only really pull forward sales which doesn't appear to be the happening. As a comparison Ford has 50% more demo Everests and is only been on sale 5 weeks.

The market has surely changed though. I remember when the frumpy Avalon was released and it was a sales disaster selling 'only' 2000 a month.

Remember when the AU was 'struggling' with 4000- 5000 a month? What I wouldn't give for those figures now lol!

Tesla don't disclose to VFACTS but apparently they hsold 545 so far this year . If that's correct they seem to be doing ok.

How would tesla have choice? I thought vfacts were done on new registrations?

The numbers have to come from the manufacturers. Haval don't submit numbers either.

Mercedes is pushing c class. They do register a lot them selves and it's the choice of dealer demo / loan car as it's easy to stock
