I know there are a couple of places that ppl take their cars on a Fri and Sat night in Brisvegas for informal meets but can't remember where, can someone remind me please. Wifey is going away next weekend so I might try to get to one or both. Might not be lots there in middle of winter but I haven't anything else on. Thanks

Munchies and Harry's are the 2 big meet ups. Munchies is a little feral at times and caters for all comers. Harry's is more old Skool.
Occasional meet ups monthly around Petrie, caboolture, north lakes for pre 85. Can't remember where next one is but they are first sat of month Perhaps Petrie markets on Friday nights too.

Castledine Roadhouse is a popular haunt.
Munchies - Friday nights. Harry's - Thursday nights, 'ricer' night. Harry's - Friday nights, Chrome Bumper night. Yomanto - first Friday night of the month.

The Ferry Road Diner is an excellent choice for Gold Coasters. Bee there a few times in past days. Just a bit out of my range these days.

I think you will find Ferry Road is closed.
There is a classic car "park up" at Masters Upper Coomera every 2nd Saturday evening of the month with a big roll up of some of the best chrome bumper cars you will see. |

Harrys on Fridays can be a bit of a gem, Thursdays can be a disaster, and worse.

Were you at Munchies last night? I did go along but was there a bit late but was still in awe of what was there. I will go earlier next time and take a chair.

Saturday October 17, I expect there will be hundreds of 90's Utes in the car park outside while their 'cocky' owners come in to have a gander at some decent motor vehicle heritage.

Yes, I was there over parked off the corner of the IGA, where I usually park. I did leave a little early as I had to go shove me head down the B in L's sullage pit on Saturday morning. Fun times in the Brisbane River Valley. Manged to beat the rain home, just.
