Fellas,
I'm desperately looking for a gear shift boot for my newly restored XC Cobra! I've tried ebay, and every spares place in the fricken world. Can anyone help?

Yep. I bought mine from Classic Custom in Kelmscott (Perth) for $35.00 a year and a half ago. I have not fitted it yet, as my car is a slow resto, but my mate fitted one from there to his Cobra, and he said the stitching etc. is spot on. Her name at the shop is Sharon ph: (08)9495 1577 and see if she still has them?
Forgot to add, you need to use your old plastic sleeve that goes around the top of the shifter boot! Last edited by Scooter; 14-08-2011 at 05:41 PM. |

this is very helpful! Thanks Scooter.
Mine was an auto when I got it, and part of the resto includes converting it back to manual (as it was originally built). Where the hell do I get the plastic sleeve? Im told they are the same as fitted to the TE and TF Cortinas?
