I hope its not a cheap knock off from the pommy version. I hope that the commentators have their own personalities and traits that are entertaining, not 3 blokes that are trying to be hammond, clarkson, and may..

With that said i hope there funny too lol. Half the fun of top gear is the on screen (and off) happening taht make it so enjoyable.

I also hope they dont just test cars well out of my prices range and that i would never see let alone own..

I honestly think it will be great if not awesome. Finally a real aussie car show, unlike the crap seen over the years. People need to give it a chance and not be judgemental. At least watch the first episode then judge. The UK show started out pretty crap, but look at it now... Its the most pirated TV show in the world.

It has been confirmed that there will be a Falcon Vs Commodore duel at some point in the first 6 or 8 episodes. It wouldnt be an aussie car show without it i think. I just hope they dont Boganize it. Which i dont think will happen... FORD GT, Pagani Zonda = YUMMY.

All 3 are motor enthusiasts in their on rite. Ones a collector, ones a racer and another, dunno can't remember.
Apparently they're taking 3 diff types of Range/Land Rovers across the country to start off with.
I'll be watching no matter how good or bad thay might be.

Finally, a show that seems to have personality. I suspect it will be brilliant, especially now that we can actually get the aussie version of it all. Hopefully the comentators will put a genuine Aussie perspective on things and tell us if its a rice box or a piece of , rather than in shows such as test drive where the car is made out to be virtually perfect.

They must have a large sedan comparo so then the general public can have an UNBIASED idea on why Aussie cars are so much better and why RWD is a must have in all cars

Bloody Hell, they've copied everything, including the set. I expected Clarkson's voice over the titles. This'll take some getting used to.

A softroader test as the first ever segment? Hmmmmmmm. Only 13 minutes in though, lets see what happens.

Don't like the short guy with the beard. Something about him seems like he's trying too hard. The news is woeful. I've got a Pommy Top Gear ready to go once this ends.

Warren Brown is the only true Petrol Head in the group. He was great in Peeking to Paris.

Edit: Just realised that this is the first time I can't fast forward the news. Also, anyone know the road they're driving the Porsche on?
