I will admit I am kinda bad for tailgating BUT I'm sick of idiots that do under the speed limit while sitting on the right lane or stupid P Plater chicks that like to sit on 80 k's on the right lane on the freeway, that irritates me big time.

I don't tailgate to be an **** tho..

Ive seen an EB falcon with a pod stickin out from under the front near the number plate. I could only imagine the amount of bending required for the pipe to be hangn out like that and what a waste of time it therefore was.

Haha, I agree 100% HERXR8.

I just find it frustrating in 40 km/h school zones where you are sticking to the speed limit for the safety of the children, only to have a parent fly past you.

I agree the whole school speed system is a complete farce, but I'm a P plater and manage to stick to the rules. If I can, why can't all parents do the same?

i hate when people badge their car something its not.. eg put an xr front on a forte and put an xr6 badge on it.
Also hate people who get VY HSV bodykits on their VN,VR,VP,VS,VT and VX. Its heaps mismatched, looks $hit house..
oh and on daihatsu sirions and alfa romeaos how they have the number plate off to one side.. non symetrical stuff annoys me on cars ;)

Tickford badges no non-tickfords irks me, as does magic trees, fluffy dice, those head bobbing dogs, "Bad B!tch" stickers, and "Baby on board" signs.

Tailgating really gets me fired up, just on the way to work today and some ****er tail gated me at 80kmph. I slowed down to 50 and gave him the finger before he finally got the hint and sped off... F**ktard P Plater!!!

Phew... :

I had an old block tailgating the XB on the freeway today. I just moved from the middle lane to the left lane to let him past. Bugger if I know why he just didn't overtake? Right lane was free. Oh well s**t happens.

I couldn't lose the ****er behind me, he switched lanes after every set of lights and always ended up right behind me. I took my foot off the accellerator and rolled down to 50kmph until he finally buggered off.

Sometimes I feel like giving them the old braking reflex test, but I'd only be more ****ed off :yeees:

another thing that gives me the rippers,

when a learner driver is on the freeway, and is inundated by honking and the like from the driver behind because they are doing 80 kph. Even though they are in the left lane, are doing the speed which they are required by law to adhere to.

I wouldn't be one to lean on my horn at them, but I don't think learners, being restricted to 80kmph, should hit the freeways. I'm sure they can find somewhere more suitable to learn to drive. There are plenty of '80' main roads of they're looking for the highway experience.

I hate being stuck behind an L plater in peak hour. They begin braking a few kilometres before every corner :yeees: but that's just me, I'm impatient.

What ever happened to "keep left unless overtaking"?

If you are actually overtaking, no problem, but if the left lane is free, why be a tool?

I have a new one.

Brakes re-bedding after a diff swap. The metal-on-metal grind makes your ears bleed.

The problem is a lot of people have this attitude. They cruise along on or just under the speed limit, windows up, stereo on and never looking in the rear vision mirror. What they don't see is the Police/Fire/Ambulance coming up at a higher speed than traffic. They don't hear the siren beecause car are more soundproofed now and our sirens are limited in volume.

Even if they do see the emergency vehicle, it takes time to change lanes, which is time that slows down the emergency vehicle. When you are trying to change lanes and no one will let you in, don't forget to hold you breath because someone else might be.

If you are not overtaking keep left, it is courtesy and also a recommendation of all government transport departments, one of the reasons for this is the quick access of emergency services.

The one I really hate is drag racing trucks from traffic lights, you know the ones. One thinks he is way faster than the other so he swaps to the right lanes and banks up all the cars while they have their drag from the lights.

Couple of things;

How do you know that your speedo & everyone elses is 100% correct.

Do you use cruise control?

I think you should re-read the road rules.

i hate when idiots think they have the right to stop someone from changing into the lane which they are in. when i have my indicators on signalling to change lanes you must by law make room for me! and not block me, thinking that its a race or something

I agree, I also want to know why some people beleive they have a right to police the roads and slow everyone up, cause they beleive they are doing 100. Always interesting to watch when someone sits in the right hand lane and slows a few cars up, what generally happens is that the cars behind become more and more desperate to get passed and it leads to a unsafe situation, not to mention road rage. I couldn't care less what other cars are doing, if I am not overtaking I move over to the left

Good point, but its pretty hard to take appropriate action when people pull in front of you, cause your on a bike, and then hit the brakes cos they werent watching where they were going......
or were too busy checking to see if that light WAS RED, when they went through the intersection, to see what was in front of them!!!!

Granted, the one that was my fault was stupid, over anxious on the gas, and played the clutch on a wet white line.... the bike got away from me, but i was lucky, bugger all damage to the bike, no damage to me, or ANYONE ELSES property.......

how many people can say that about an accident theyve had???

ive recently given up riding on the road, going to stick to tracks, safer, and easier, when your starting a family!!!!

im sticking to my 4 wheeled white knight, my beautiful AU XR6.

in no way, do i mean to cause offence to anybody with anything ive said, but il stick to my guns :

When people illegally sit in the right lane when they are not overtaking. You're whinging about people breaking one law (speeding) and you're breaking one yourself.
