obviously some will get caught up in the new Mustang hysteria, they look the business and in the short term will sell like hotcakes , my suggestion is properly drive one before you sign an order ,once the excitement settles you may not like the ergonomics or the layout ,.. ( if you do youre easy to please ! ) i know the handbrake and console layout would **** me off no end,..then there's the price ,put simply its not a >60k car ,..the FGX XR8 is made here ,nicer to drive much much faster ,has collectability potential and way cheaper
dont get me wrong I like it and will buy a convertible down the track when the prices come down to earth and the RH version is built properly. |

I live far from Rocky, but saw a dark grey one pass through North Richmond NSW this morning...number plates "gnome" or something. It definitely stood out amongst the rest of the cars cruising through the intersection. Nice choice

I just spent a week in Vegas back in July and it hit 47c while I was out around Lake Mead/Hoover Dam/Redrock Canyon.... Just realised, mustang isn't the only vehicle with that hideous front plate holder

Yeah, because hot weather testing in one of the hottest places in the world (death valley) is nothing compared to the aussie sun

Geez, I guess he has to attain some sort of material privilege in life to compensate for being born with the disfigurement that led to him being proscribed with the moniker of gnome.

A certain Sydney car manufacturer that went out of business in the mid 70's used to do their wet weather testing just over the Blue Mountains at a place called, of all things, Sunny Corner.

My first sighting of the new Mustang on the road happened over the Xmas break.
We did the great ocean rd from Torquay to Warnambool (then onto Beachport). Of course the fires prevented us from doing the whole thing, and so we tacked on to the car-train for the back detour inland to get from Lorne to Apollo Bay, and it was along this windy detour that I saw it coming the other way. No time for pics but it looked super tough hugging the bend. Was a white one. |

You can have any opinion you like but you always post negative things to get reactions. Start a thread called tempteds world and post everything you don't like there. I honestly think it would be a good read |

Munchausen Syndrome is an attention-seeking personality disorder which is more common than statistics suggest. Munchausen Syndrome, is a disorder in which an emotionally immature person with narcissistic tendencies, low self-esteem and a fragile ego has an overwhelming need to draw attention to themselves and to be the centre of attention.

The Australian motor industry is dead because they kept flogging us second rate garbage year after year and the Australian consumer is more sophisticated and aware now of what is available globally. I wish I had dollar for every time I have heard Joe Blow tell what great cars EH Holden's and the like were. Think about what you could get from GM USA at the same time, fuel injection for a start.

And I have to say I wouldnt buy one, coz it has rough texture console, the 3 tail lights are wrong, the hand brake is 6 inches too far left, there's no hybrid, it doesnt get 70 MPG, you cant get tow bar, roof rack, gun rack, fishing rod holder, winch,3 rows of seats and front bullbar, and everyone knows its about 60K too dear (read more than I can afford) |

Writing off a car based on the plastic finish of the centre console... That's quality.
