^This Looks even better if the front wheels are further forward again; Terrible photoshop skills on my behalf, but I think they're the proportions that make a car really stand out from the hordes of FWD econoboxes out there. Put a badge or vent/grille in that space between the wheel arch and front door and your set. |

I really like it. Even if its a LWB version of the EUCD2 that underpins the upcoming Fusion/Mondeo. Should be alot lighter than the current D3 Taurus - just imagine it with 3.5 EcoBoost and AWD!

I'm not so sure I do like it...
It looks too much like the Fusion and Mondeo, doesn't quite have that big sedan look about it that I like. I like big cars, and unfortunately, that doesn't really do it for me. Infact, I'd probably choose the current Taurus styling over it to be honest. I dunno, I must be weird? |

I like it, but come 2017 she will be a well and truly dated design. Then again FoA are always late to the table.

But you raise a good point too: the waist line is too high. A lower waist line would be more conducive to visibility and the feeling of spaciousness.

Generous canopy, hip and shoulder room are better conveyors of spaciousness than waist line..... |

I do like it for a G6, but I can't see a XR or FPV variant in there.

I also appreciate that you used the Mondeo's shutlines as doors are very expensive to engineer. Makes the design much more feasible!

I dont really like it. The Superman grille really needs to be the upper grille. Looking at the cars and SUV's that Ford has put it on, you can see a trend of the cars (Taurus, Fudeo)taking it for the top and SUV's (Ecosport, Territory SZ) taking it for the bottom. There is an exception there, that being Mk2 FG which IMO perhaps exposes the local design as being out of touch.
As a 2014 concept it might pass. 2017 i think Ford would almost be moving on to their next design concepts. |

Not sure about wagon attempt...these modern cars with the angled window line make it hard...

That looks about 6-7 metres long! lol...
Loved the original sedan. Couldn't understand how it would be morphed into an aggressive car though, XR or FPV etc.

With an XR version, im thinking of loosing the chrome in the grills, add a more pronounce lower lip and 'chisel' around the vents a bit... and maybe adding red sourrounds to the projectors...

I like it overall, but that front guard is horrendous and definitely needs to be tweaked.

Wagon looks like it would be the longest car ever made.....ha ha.
Awesome job in all seriousness, I like the look of that car. Reminds me of the Jaguar's getting around at the minute...... |

Looks good Nikked, both the sedan and wagon.
You should send your resume to Ford, then give them a call to follow up. Good work!
