Not to pick on your post but love the "roof carpet slightly sagging".
Slightly? - Good thing the interior light is still there. |

I'll take a guess and say it needs a lot more than just seat belts to be able to get a road worthy, especially considering it has 335,000 km's on it. The hood lining itself is a roadworthy requirement.

Hood lining and seatbelts are easy fix. I'd think you'd need temperature control knob as well for front demister?? another easy fix. I'd be worried about leaks, condition of brakes, lights working but could be alright. would have too look at it. looks like it would tidy up alright. if transmissions been serviced and has had a fairly easy life. should be ok. be aware it has had a towbar on it. sign that it might have towed at some stage of its life??

Phht...seen a hell of a lot worse ones driving around the streets. That looks pretty damn good and a great starting point for a project.
Of course, I do prefer this which had a link on the same ebay page... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1971-Hold...61029797321%26 |

Would be a good starting point for a project, especially taking the price into consideration. Buying as a daily on the other hand would probably be a bit of a hassle.

I reckon $500 for that 5.0 AU is a bargain. Perfect for someones first V8 and perfect for a project car.

It wasn't a bad car when I had it as a company car. If my memory serves me, I think it was a Ford demo.

http://youtu.be/ruERk5FmydE I owned this car for some 10 years. Never had a lot of doe to spend but did what I could with what I had. Lot's of up's n' down's over the years but with lots of new part's it was a super reliable car. Got me from the east coast of NSW to WA and back, damaged 2 tyres on route and that was it! Had to get rid of it in the end 'cause it started to rust out in the drivers side 'A' pillar and I wasn't prepared to fork out the doe for major body work.

Looks like it was a temporary dyno, and it was obviously not set up correctly, looks like the whole dyno just moved.
