I am just astounded that this NAZI paranoia **** still exists today, guess we can blame that one on the media....Sure the NAZI'S were evil bastards but do you do realize there existed a lot more evil political movements than the NAZI'S? Joseph Stalin comes to mind for starters, his extermination count was`around the 33,000000 mark I believe.

Nah.... The only thing done to death is labeling anyone who goes against the status quo (like forced mass multiculturalism or islamafication of Oz as what the UPF seem to be doing) as a nazi. These words used to silence any opposition has gotten so bloody stupid that when I'm called a bigot or nazi or racist by some mentally unstable idealistic academic with its head firmly up its **** I take it as a compliment.

Elysian50 it's a bit rich to ostensibly come here to "gauge opinions" and ask what we think, then get offended and defensive at the answers you get. If you're tired and easily offended hearing the word Nazi then go have conversations about something else...

Baseless labeling tends to ostracize and hurt people which is why it is used,it is a very effective assassination tool on ones character and is generally used when one has little else to level at another. Sure I asked people here what they thought of a certain political group and to gauge their opinions but that does not disqualify me from questioning them or even criticizing them on these views if I choose. |

I like them to be honest not for the violence and that its good to see someone actually protesting about something/anything it seems in this country anybody who protests about anything is a trouble maker and shouted down we need more protests not less.
Otherwise you just get what we have now unpopular decisions enforced by minority's onto a silent majority. We always get ****** atleast these people are out there trying, and im always happy to listen to racist bigoted hatred how else can people realize these thoughts exist amongst more people then just the protestors, there out there and need to be kept in check if they arnt making noise there just the silent underbelly growing in strength anyway. Id say its mostly arises from a combination of pathetic political leadership and stifled debate on touchy subjects. |

Far right (like far left wing) groups have always been around. Social media has just allowed them to be more organised.

Nazi labeling is erroneous when applied to the UPF. The brownshirts of the 1930s were far more effective in dealing with the left. One is hardly a fascist because they disagree with leftist values...

Don't be such a victim. The reason the UPF is currently tarnished with the Nazi label is due to various statements that leaders and others have made. More interesting has been the attempt at whitewashing these (your comments in post 29 are particularly interesting). If the label is indeed unjustified and they're tired of it, one would think that perhaps the reasonable thing to do would be to thoroughly denounce Nazism/national socialism/other Neo Nazi groups etc...

Another annoyance is your use of subjective Buzz words such as ''extremism'' which I strongly doubt you or anyone else for that matter can even define, most likely developed from watching to much SUNRISE. |

Actually the left are far closer to the old NAZI party in comparison than the right will ever be. The NAZI party were progressive socialists and also aspiring globalists, just like we see in left wing parties today. The right on the other hand are conservatives who wish to protect what they have, believe in free enterprise, earning ones way and tend to hold a strong national identity with higher moral standards which not so long ago most of us also did. |

UPF spokesman and youtuber Chris Shortis tried to convince viewers, quite unconvincingly, that everyday Australians who value institutions such as social welfare, hospitals, state schools, legal aid etc are in fact National Socialists. Followed immediately by the statement "and the slang term for that is Nazi." Quote:
