That's worked for Toyota before...when they did the third generation Celica in 1982 (the completely restyled RA60 like the one I own), they started with a clean sheet of paper and a new design team, no one of whom was over 25 years of age.
Looking back, that's a huge gamble for a big company to make with a flagship model. Maybe more car companies ought to take a chance now and then? |
