Yep our dealer has told me on 3 seperate occasions that the illuminated gear knob is standard even after he went and asked the manager as well. So im going to hold him too it when the car arrives!!!! It better be free or ill be ****ed off!!
I dont get how they dont know about their car's. Seriously!!! There's only 3 models of Fiesta CL, LX and Zetec. If I can read it in the brochure in 20minutes how do they get it wrong when they work every week selling the same cars??? : |

They must just think of the $$$$ and not worry too much about the products they're selling. Surely you have to have an interest in what you're selling and at the absolute LEAST know that the stock standard inclusions are!
I wonder how many illuminated gearknobs your dealer will have to hand out free of charge? ROFL |

Bought our '09 Zetec from Maughan Thiem Fords in Adelaide. Really good service, polite and even coffee was offered.
when we signed on the dotted line, 90% of the sales team came out and we were offered congratulatory handshakes all round (really!) When the car was delivered, we were called and invited down to have a look at the car and advised of when it will be ready to be collected, more coffee offered. We arrived to pickup the car, more coffee, the sales chap spent about 30 minutes with us explaining all the bells and whistles again. two days later a follow up phone call from our sales guy to see how the car was going. |

Yeah same as my dealer (Pacific Ford) but I even got a bucket of car cleaning goodies and jelly beans. It's good when everyone is layed back, and has a laugh, talk about their cars and say how nice your car is and introduce you to their team, shake hands. They offered to show me how it worked but I'd played around with so many Fiesta's all I wanted to do was drive the little sucker!
In retrospect, although Ford Australia didn't send me a letter of thanks or stuff like that, the dealer did a good job in keeping me happy. Nice to see other dealers around like this too silverzetec! It's these guys who will be in business for years to come when all the others have been given the boot.
