I was in the market for staggered 18 inch wheels and... Apparently these 17 inch wheels clear Brembo's? I believe them to be XXR 550's, anyone had any experience with XXR? Last edited by ivanflo; 11-10-2016 at 01:37 AM. Reason: added XXR brand info |

Matt from Race Brakes Sydney is currently investigating modifying a rotor hub and brackets, so that I can fit Brembo's behind normal wheels. I'll keep you posted on further developments.

The rotor is a two piece option and will run bobbins (which are being manufactured) and just waiting on them to proceed.

Would someone know if the following wheels will fit over 6pot brembos?
- Lenso Speed 2 in 19X8.5 Front and 19X9.5 Rear with P35 or P40 offset - XXR 527 in 19X8.75" Front and 19X9.75" Rear with P38 offset I'm going to assume guards will need to be rolled |

Guys I'm wondering if anyone knows if 19" XR50 Turbo wheels will fit over the 6 pot Brembos? Or anyone in Sydney with 6 pots that I could see if my wheel fits over?
Cheers. |

50th anniversary rims won't fit over brembos. I had to change rims on my ute when I fitted 4 pot brembos

Most suppliers will generally be able to tell you if that helps.

If you have 90mm clearance between the outer rotor face to the inner face of the spoke then they generally fit we don't work off the offset as the spoke can still foul.

Thanks again FLOORED. Unfortunately It looks like it goes from 93mm to 88mm from the outer side of the spoke down to the hub side.

This may still be enough for you and i would suggest if you can get a Ford with either 4 or 6 front Brembo's on you could check your wheel for clearance.

Hi fella's
I recently received Speedy Hotshot wheels from Autocraze (great people to deal with ) The wheels i went for are 19 x 8.5 all around with 245/35/19 rubber on the front and 255/35/19 rubber on the rear.the offset is +30 and they comfortably cleared my 6 spot brembo calipers and discs in front ( i am running standard Ford/FPV brakes in the rear ), the vehicle is a december 2010 FPV GS 315 ute

Vertini Hellfire F20x8.5 +30 R20x10 +40
Front will fit 6p not sure about rears, not much room between the caliper to the inside of the wheel. I did ask for these to be cut to suit front brake upgrade. [IMG][/IMG]

Being 17" and the dish in them i doubt they will but the manufacture should be able to tell you once they know the model they are being fitted too.

Your best bet is to ask the Simmons supplier which wheels will fit factory FPV brakes as they should have that info. Dished wheels generally wont allow bigger brakes.
