Hello, this looks like a great site. I have grown up in the era of Cortinas, Capris, Escourts, Fairmonts, Fairlanes etc. in South Africa. Rebuilt many of them as a hobby. Since 2000 in Australia, and promptly bought a trusty XHII Ute which has worked very hard since. Great to be on this forum!

G'day to all on Australia Day. I am new to this site. I have a FG G6, a great car but not enough clearance for wandering off the black stuff every now and then. Will be following the various threads here while I research a replacement vehicle.

Hi guys,
just installed a new steering column and ignition barrel to my sons 04 ba, is there any way we can reprograme it so it starts or does it need to go to the dealer?. Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi, newbie here.
My name is John and I own a 2000 Fairlane AU Ghia. Just about to move house, going to live in Brisbane soon. My old Fairlane has been good to me but the old gal is starting to show her age. She is the couch on wheels for me. |

G Day everyone
I joined the site as i have returned to the Ford family after buying a 2005 Territory TX 7 seat AWD. My last ford was a 78 Escort. I have enjoyed the site so far its been very interesting. Just 2 questions firstly the power steering makes a groaning noise at low speed eg parking. There is plenty of fluid in the reservoir but when i loosened the cap air escaped is this normal? Its not the squeeling noise mentioned in the other threads. Also there is moisture in the pass side headlight assembly. any tips for a fix Cheers Dave |

Hi all, just joined the site! I drive an Oct 02 BA XT sedan 6. If you know your fords oct is the first month the BAs came out! Have been the owner of this car since April 04. Had the normal front brake shudder! Got the rotors machined twice and it still came back! The only true fix i think is replacing the front rotors...done! The auto started to squeel at 30,000, took back to ford and they replaced it no questions asked! Just replaced the plugs myself....that under the fire wall bit is fun!! She has 153,000 on her now and plan to keep her for another 20 years if possible? Mods are pedders springs (xr6 height) k and n high flow air filter, xr6 turbo air intake, xr8 front seats...so awesome, $375 for both from the wreckers in as new condition, fairmont grill, $60. I service it my self and use synthetic oil. I enjoy the BA so much. Note clean oil is the answer!!! Have a nice day and stay safe out on the road!

Good Day All,
My name is Jaya, I have bought a 2012 Territory SZ Diesel Titanium RWD Ford executive driven car (10000 km's). Additional accessories fitted after buy include bonet protector, dust deflector, roof rack bars, mud spats, side steps and floor mats. So far I have done 200 m's on this car and have noticed a soft whistling sound (appears to come from dash / not sure) whilst driving at speeds over 20km. Apologies if raise it in wrong thread, I would appreciate if some body help me answering this or direct me to right thread. Cheers, Jaya |

Hello all,
I'm Tom and since last May, I've been the proud owner of an AU XR6 VCT. I love its straight six roar and limited slip diff, but its not the most reliable thing. Still gotta love the character of a Falcon. |

Hi. My name is Manny. I purchased my GT 335 last August, and have been a member of Australian Ford Forums since November. I was considering a few different types of high performance cars ranging from an M3 to (God forbid) a HSV. Needless to say I am more than happy with the quality and performance. I have experience working on European cars and let me tell you that FPV have truly built a comparable product.
Keep up the good work with the site guys. It's interesting seeing everybody's view on a variety of topics regarding the blue oval. Sent from my GT-I9210T using Tapatalk 2 |

G'day everyone. Just found the forum after fruitless days searching. I have a great SX Territory. Unfortunately it seems to have a fatal attraction for slow roos. Just punched the sizth in three years. LOooking for some alternative to paying insurance excess :(
