Have an FG Turbo with a high-flow cat installed. It comes up with a check engine light for emissions. Is there any place in Sydney that could get rid of this for me without a custom tune? Cheers.

Most tuners will probably clear it for you but they might charge for it. Buy an ODB2 bluetooth scan tool off ebay and use torque pro on your phone to clear it, or find a mate that has an XCAL

Clearing with scan tool or disconnecting battery works temporarily, until all of a sudden the light is on again. I have heard of some people relocating the secondary o2 sensor to fix issue? Apart from that, what would a flash tune be worth?

I think you have to either turn the sensor off through the tune or move it so it gets a trick reading. Just clearing the code will only fix the problem until it reads there'd an issue again.

Know anyone who could do that, and not charge an arm and a leg? What is the purpose of the secondary o2 sensor apart from the satisfying the Greens?

The second sensor is just for diagnostics afaik, which is why it's just turned off. It still requires a custom tune though. If you've got a high flow cat though there's a risk of iverboosting as well which will likely need a tune to rectify it.

trying to do things on the cheap can in many instances cost more than doing it properly in the first place

you can simulate an o2 sensor with some basic electronics.
or just pay for one.... here is an example that I cannot vouch for http://www.magnumtuning.com/en/detai...ator/ford/f150 it just fools the ecu into thinking all is perfect with the world.... easier to just remove the lamp/led though.... |

Just disconnect the battery for a while and it'll go away, but it'll keep coming unless you tune it out
