Default Rotor/pad pricing for Brembo equipped AU

Morning,

What's the damage on 4 rotors and pads for a AU P250 with Brembo F/R?

Doesn't need to be Brembo brand, but would like nice quality without bank breaking price.

The car is pretty much only used on the street, with some towing.

The ability to withstand a track day once in a while without meltdown would be nice, but it's not likely to be often.

Hi mate so it does have the 4 piston brembo caliper front and rear? i would recommend the DBA T3 slotted rotors all round and the minimum pad i would use is the new Brembo aftermarket range as will be good for the street but limited for track use. Prices for these parts are about $1300 or you can run better pads up to $1500. Cheaper options are available but these are all cheaper quality as well.

Thanks,

Yes, 4 piston F/R.

Price looks very reasonable to me.

I know it's a pretty tough question, but what would you expect the life of that lot to be?
I'm pretty sure what's on the car now is the OEM stuff, and it's just nudging 70k, but the pads are dangerously low, and the rotors look shagged (but I haven't measured).

Performance wise, these were more than plenty good for everything that I ever threw at it.
Is this new combo better, worse, or same?

Thats some good km's we see anything from 29000km's and upwards for wear and tear on factory fitted stuff. I think our quote is equivalent or better than the factory set up and much cheaper than the genuine as well.

Sounds good to me.
I had a browse at the DBA stuff, and noticed you recommended the higher end rotors, obviously to keep in line with the pedigree of the vehicle/Brembo gear.

Regarding the pads, there was $200 difference between them. Do you have a link to both of those you are recommending?

And whether it's $1300 or $1500 is neither here nor there to me, so I'd likely just get the more expensive ones, unless you see a negative to that?
They wouldn't wear the rotors faster or something else?

And lastly, do you have all this in stock - if not, how much wait?

DBA T3 is the best option in my opinion and the difference in the pads depends on how hard you want to push the car as we also do packages up to and including $2100 which would be far better for your track and street options. $1300 to $1500 covers a few options from the Remsa and Hawk pads to the Brembo brand pad and you could also mix up front to rear pads if you want something on there you know will handle the track. I generally hav everything here is stock.

So 4 pot brembo fronts only?
DBA T3 slotted rotors and pads from $700 or genuine Brembo xdrilled rotors and aftermarket pads from $980.
FG GT 4 piston brembo disc rotors and pads could be fitted to the earlier model 4 pot set ups but the earlier models did have a different product from Ford when they were released.
