I've used the Flexdrive CC118 in the RS2000 for the last 15 years no problems
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-ESCO...item43a344b8e0 Have also heard of people using the longer Cortina 2lt cable (1.2mtrs) to reroute around extractors and such. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-ESCO...item5890bb2975 Cheers Last edited by JimStone; 03-07-2012 at 08:58 PM. |

Try Stewart at SMCKA - top service, good prices and quick dispatch. All parts I've gotten from him have been good quality and fit no problems

I bought the Burtons Clutch cable and it fitted fine. I also bought a speedo cable and the connection for the Gearbox was too thick - but I filed it down and its now fine.

Very good advice from the guys to buy from Smcka. He is a good source of knowledge on parts. When you buy from burtons you need to order for mk2 2 litre escort, not rs2000. theres a few other parts like suspension TCA's and engine parts that are different as the pommy RS's were a bit sportier spec, ours are just dressed up standard MK2 2 litre escort rally packs.
