Whereabouts are you located? There are a few specialist motorsport tyre dealers, they normally advertise in motorsport mags. Eg Stuckey Tyres sell Dunlop plus others and Trackside Race & Rally Tyre Service do Bridgestone - both in Vic.
If you can do some research on what type of cars run the same size tyres, you might get some secondhand slicks which would also be suitable. |

you need to work out what's avail in the size you need, your budget and also what conditions you drive them under ie autokhanas, sprints, hillclimbs, circuit work ( few laps, 5 laps or more, 10 laps or more etc ).
Dunlop D03J for example comes in S1,M1,R1 and H1 compunds to suit diff conditions, buy the wrong compound you could find it takes too long to come on to its optimal grip window or goes off before the session is over, highly frustrating. Popular choices of real semi slicks incl B/stone RE 55s, Advan A048/050, Toyo R888, Kumho V70A, Dunlop D03J. |
