Default Should I put stripes on the bonnet or not?

Hi folks
I wanted to get an idea of opinion on the bonnet ST stripes. I have already ordered them for the car but am not sure about them...
May be a bit over the top but they do look cool. I want a full ST replica (minus the ST badges) so I think why not go the full hog...
What is everyones opinion on them?
With

Without

Well, i say without. the bottom pic looks awesome. white wheels look awesome on a red fiesta too ;)

I just think if you overdo it with the stripes and put em on the roof and bonnet it would just attract the wrong kind of attention, whereas stripes down the side look like there actualy supposed to be there, they dont look out of place in my opinion

Mitch that is what I am thinking.
Bonnet stripes make it into a "Heat Seeker"...
But with Suzuki Swifts coming out with them, they may be the new "fashion"..
I also agree about the white wheels, they look great! Since I am getting these wheels as well, and the wheels are painted silver anyway, why not repaint them white! Real rally look...

Hey redstar,

I was also concidering having big white stripes down the bonnet and roof but, it is a bit too much in my opinionm so i just settled with the modified BA falcon ones, and they work a treat.

Xurbanx you've seen an ST before haven't you? That's what my car will look like in a few weeks once I get the bumpers imported from the UK. At the moment it looks pretty much like every other Fiesta.
The ST bonnet stripes are something that is optional from the dealerships over in the UK.

Nah, do the side ones but not the bonnet ones. Having 2 lots looks overdone.
