Last night Jamie and I attended the Kiwanis meeting where the Geelong All Ford day was discussed. Some of the main issues which arose were entry into the show and getting cars in a bit quicker. I think they did a great job organiseing the event as apparently they only found out in late OCtober that the venue would actually be available, this year they will be starting to plan in about May-June so any ideas should be put forward soon.
One of the organisers spoke to us at the end of the meeting and was full of praises for the ORSM club. He commented on the courteousness of all the mebers and that the display was well organised and it was good that plans were done before the show in regards to the set up. Upon arrival whoever was first in line was helpful land et him know how many cars were together which made getting in a lot quicker. Apparently someone was also very excited when told that the tent could go up next to the clubs display!! They also commented on the way the club is tied together well with the flags and especially the ORSM plates and a great variety of cars in the display Well done to all the ORSM guys, it was really great to hear such positive feedback Narelle P.S. we wont be at the club meeting tonight so if someone could mention this it would be great |
