one of the office girls from work was involved in an accident the sunday before last. got emailed a pic of the car (whats left of it) today. sorry bout the quality, phone pic...
she was the front passenger. She suffered a broken ankle and a dislocated hip. Pulled herself out of the wreck. There was also a passenger in the back, and I think they and the driver got off lightly injury-wise. I haven't heard the full details off the accident, but there was a bridge involved, and it was near Williamstown. going by the pic, It looks like the front left hit something and spun the car sidewaysinto something large and solid. I'll try to find out more.. Oh and the girl has now got 6pins and a plate in her ankle, and is still in hospital. |

Full credit to the car there, looks like it's taken one hell of a hit and for 2 to walk away and 1 to have done an ankle, you have to be pretty impressed with a 16ish year old car.

I think there's a car in there! I would like to see a small hatch in the equivalent force impact. Would the people be alive if it were? Probably not!

They were all very very lucky to walk away from that, looking at how badly crushed the front passenger side is.
(Now waits for the traditional "It'll buff out" comments)
