LOL, have done same. IME, cyclists show a bigger disregard toward pedestrians than drivers. Maybe its because (most) drivers realise they're piloting a 1-2 tonne block of steel that can kill, but cyclists seem to think in the event of a collision, the worst that will happen is a few scratches and bruises so its worth the risk.
