it seems it makes sense (as sad as that is).

The global business to Ford is more important than the stigma of being "called out on Ford Forums".

Employees sadly will be the ones most affected by this - although the generous closure package will compensate them to some degree.

Hopefully those that aren't retiring will find redeployment opportunities at Product engineering, or FCSD, or find jobs elsewhere.
