they didn't show if the tail gate popped back out when they took it off the ramps .
in any event its six of one half a dozen the other, being stiff has advantages , but being flexible also has advantages, both have effects on ride , traction, handling,
if you look at any old scrubbers or heavy trucks with stiff rails/non compliant suspension when they get hard miles on them , often they have stress cracks in the chassis and body.
