The Make-a-Wish Foundation made a 5 year old's dream come true. He's always wanted to be Batkid. The city of San Francisco (became Gotham City for a day), it's residents, Mayor and even President Obama all got involved and helped make Miles a hero. Miles is in remission now and has battled leukemia since he was 18 months old. How great is this! Events like this restore my faith in humanity. (made me cry too) YOU GO, MILES! http://wish.org/ Last edited by NickyN; 17-11-2013 at 10:35 AM. |
