A friend of mine shifts from Alice Springs to Bundaberg in the 1st week of March, he has been in Alice for 12 years and decided that it was time for a change, he purchased a property that back onto a river as he is a keen fisherman, and took advantage of only paying 25% of the normal stamp duty that the QLD Govt has got going.
It's not sounding good for him at the moment, or anyone else in the affected areas, the pictures and footage in the media are absolutely terrible.
