Default Setting up Koni shocks

I have koni adjustable shocks fitted front and rear on my XW.

What is the best way to set them up for street/strip duties. I have them set fairly firm atm. Should the rears be set up soft? It has been a long time since I messed with the adjustment, but I think you can only adjust compression, and not rebound.

I have reasonably new Lovell rear leaf springs, and old 6 cyl springs in the front.

cheers
