Hey all,
Thought I might post this up. Just reading the paper an it seems that Webasto Hollandia have issued a recall for the 700 and 900 series glass sunroofs as "factory" fitted to Holdens and fords without a true factory sunroof. The recall affects Webasto Hollandia sunroofs with a build date between sep07' and jul10 for the 900series, and jan02' and dec09' for the 700 series. 900 series is the twin sliding panoramic style roof, and the 700 Is the common single glass roof. There is a risk that the glue holding the glass onto the frame will fail at higher speeds, causing the sunroof to fly off unexpectedly. Ooh my what fun. 3 big recall notices in the Herald Sun today. One from Holden, One from Ford, and one from Webasto itself. Guys If you have and aftermarket or factory ford or Holden sunroof, be mindful to follow this up. Most aussi cars with a sunroof whether "factory" or dealer fitted or fitted to an older car later in it's life will likely be a Webasto Hollandia. Cheers, Dan. |
