Default Holden versus Ford 0-100

I was wondering if anybody had accurate 0-100 times for older Commodores and Falcons eg. VL Executive, VS Executive, VT Executive, AU Forte, EL GL, XE GL.

I was looking at 0-100 times for different cars on redbook and they don’t seem correct.

My Fairmont was given a 0-100 time of 8.4 but I have been getting times around 7.8.

Also apparently a base model EL is faster than a base model AU which doesn’t seem to make sense as the AU is lighter and more aerodynamic.

The VT Executive is also rated faster than the VS Executive which a doesn’t seem right as they have the same V6 and the VT is 200kg heavier.

Also is redbook correct in saying that the late 90’s Mitsubishi lancer does 0-100 in 10.4 seconds because if it’s true that’s fruckin hilarious.
