Which Ute?

I am after some advice one what people's thoughts are on a ute I need. I cant wait really until FZ and don't really want to be going with another new car just yet anyway.

I am looking at base/R6 FG utes as it will be a work horse or a decent XR spec B series. Same sort of pricing with lower K's. If I spend a few thou more I can get into an FG XR6 or with the right seller and haggle even a BF Super Pursuit.

Its going to be for business so needs to look decent. I enjoy driving and the extra theatre that the SP would provide would be enough to put a smile on my face when not pulling into another servo. The base model ute would be cheap and possibly find one on gas to make it cheap to run but its value will be nothing by the time I am done with it and its looks are not the best. The XR's are tempting and I have always had a soft spot for the B series. One in a bright colour fits the bill in making a statement but then I think maybe I should just get a motivated sellers FG XR.

At the moment I cant get away from the SP but its most expensive and have I have the most to lose from it. Not only in value but also the running costs. I nearly got a ex demo when I got my Turbo ute so again always thought about that car and whether I made the right choice. Made the right choice on parting with my FG Turbo on the R-Spec but since things have changed and I need a ute again as my little Mu is not really the right car for the job.
I am interested in peoples opinions?
