After some time I've decided on buying a ba falcon ute to replace my current Nissan patrol ute. I'm looking at spending about 10 to 15 grand on a ute. Will want tray back so I can make my own tool box/ fridge box and dog cage on it. Just after some rough ideas of the fuel economy from the 4ltr 6 with 4 speed auto compared to the 5.4ltr v8 with 4 auto. I will be doing about 50km a week city driving 50 a week highway to and from work. Plus an 900 km trip every 3 or 6 weeks. My old Ef I used to have around town was about 14ltr per hundred and about 10 ltr per hundred on the highway was a 5 ltr v8 with 4 speed auto. How big is the difference between the never 6 to the 8 on fuel.
