Sorry i missed this mate but here you go

Low dust street performance only pads in order of quality in my opinion starting from good to best
1. Project MU NS400 $179
2.WINMAX W1 $219
3.HAWK PERFORMANCE CERAMIC $351

Performance pads not low dust pretty even on performance need to drive hard not soft. Street/track
1.Ferodo DS2500 $427
2 Winmax W3 $266 - really at this price it is the best pad for dollar.

We can also offer other brands and materials including Intima , Bendix and EBC but the above are the better in my opinion.

The Remsa pads are pretty good but they are dusty and they are another brake pad we can offer but didnt list them as they are a street pad and most people want low dust for just street pads these days. We can offer a wide range of pad choice but the ones listed are my top choices.

Hi Matt,
Spoke to you earlier this week regarding the dust issues with the 6/4 Brembo's on the XR6 Sprint.
Like the sound of the Hawk Performance Ceramic's, despite the cost.
Could you please clarify if you recommend them for both front and the rears.
Whilst at it, maybe a price for the Winmax W1 front & rear.

Would be keen to hear from anyone using either to get their impressions about the difference in dust and actual stopping performance. No track use, only standard daily driver here.

Winmax W1 are $247 per set x 2 = $494 plus any freight.

I had the Hawk HB616Z.607 (Brembo 6 piston) on the front of the Turbo Territory with DBA 42102 XS discs and Hawk HB194Z.570 (Brembo 4 piston) on the rear with DBA 42108 XS discs. This is my preferred option.

The Winmax are dusty and noisy (squeally) as hell. I have them in the car now.

Project MU were good but dustier than the Hawk.

The Territory is a fast, heavy, modified vehicle with a Brembo 6/4 combo.

I am a heavy/late braker.

I did have the original discs resurfaced, so I don't know if that may be my problem as Matt has indicated that the Winmax pads are quiet and low dust.

Matty recommended Winmax W1's for a daily drive pad on my Typhoon....
No complaints here....stuff all dust and while you wouldn't take on Bathurst with them, stopping power on the street is no worries.......wear is ok too....

Hi RegSpec, Do you run the Winmax W1 on both the front & rear?
I'm very over the dust from the Brembo pads, so glad to hear a good review on them.

Some background....
I compete in supersprints and started out with Ferodos on the car as a street/track pad..
They weren't too bad as a track pad but since they got so hot at the track they squealed like buggery on the road and the dust was ridiculous.....
Talked to Matt and I ended up getting a second set of rotors and pads so I could swap between races and street duty.....not a big deal because I take the wheels off to fit semis for competition anyway....
I run Winmax W7 on the racetrack and there awesome.....180kph into turn 2 at Eastern Creek and not much less into Turn 8 and they just pull up every time.....very happy there...
For road use we went to the opposite end of the scale and went with W1's because I don't want dust or the squealing when I stop at the lights...
Soft pad that isn't really made for "sustained" high speed stops but still very effective when you need to pull it up in a hurry and best of all....no squeal and bugger all dust.......
Regarding wear......I installed them over 12 months ago and only checked them last week when I serviced the car......still look almost new....
Well worth a try mate....;)

Unfortunately we have found the W3 compound has a higher % chance of pad squeal than a W1 although the W3 will brake better.
Winmax and also RBS have been testing a new material that has better braking than a W1 but also no noise and low dust like the W1. The feedback has been good so far so keep an eye for this pad in 2017.

Brand new 355 mm DBA 42102XS discs and Hawk HB616Z.607 pads on the front, absolutely quiet and next to no dust and no brake fade whatsoever.

I have left the Winmax pads in the rear as the wife can now drive with no brake squeal.

They will go in the bin when I can afford new rear discs.

Matt, let me know about the new compound Winmax pads when they lob thanks mate.

Officially no but i have stock of there street pads. The street pads are not high performance at all but very good street only pads and are also copper free. I will also have more Project MU NS400 pads very soon which are also good performance pads.

Was this just for the Brembo 6 piston fronts and Low dust street performance only pads you wanted prices on? No pick up available in Vic sorry it is just the DBA rotors we offer that for. Freight for 1 set of pads is $18.00
1. Project MU NS400 $179
2. WINMAX W1 $247
3. HAWK PERFORMANCE CERAMIC $315

Yea, these would be for the XR6 Sprint with the 6 pot fronts (355mm x 32mm) and 4 pot rears (330mm x 28mm)
How much better or the Hawk Cermaics vs the others for dust and performance?

They are all pretty much as good as each other and i would not hesitate to run either. The Hawk may be better overall but the cost factor is based on brand and where they are manufactured. The rear pads are cheaper.
