Default Mk 1 Cortina diff?

Hi all I have a mk1 cortina that is getting turn into a burnout only car. It had bad crash years ago and is not good for street use. It will have 302 and c4 but unsure on diff? Hopping not to spend to much. Need something narrow enough and strong. Thanks.
